The Ideon Cave is where Rhea Silva hid her son Zeus to save him from his father Kronos.  This sacred cave in the Nidha plateau at Psiloritis stands at an altitude of 1.100 meters and is the site of many archaeological findings such as bronze statues and shields, and other offerings to Zeus, the father of all gods.
